Why Ample Code
Four things we do
differently.
- Revenue, not redesign — every change is measured against conversion rate, AOV, and revenue
- One team, not three — CRO, UX, and development under one roof, no handoff gaps
- Proof, not promises — 8+ years and 173+ Shopify stores, shown before you commit
- See it fast — teardown in 48 hours, first fixes usually live within two weeks

Honest qualification
We're not right for everyone.
This is a fit if…
- You're doing $50K+/month on Shopify and traffic isn't your bottleneck
- You have real products and repeat buyers, not a dropshipping test
- You can give analytics access — that's how we find the truth
- You want revenue moved, and you're willing to ship changes
This isn't a fit if…
- You're under $50K/month — spend on traffic first, and we'll tell you so
- You want a redesign for its own sake, with no number attached
- You need paid ads, influencer, or content management — that's not us
- You're shopping for the cheapest hourly developer
FAQ
Common questions.
A 10-minute recorded walkthrough of your store where we show you the three biggest revenue leaks we can find, and what we’d do about each one. It arrives within 48 hours, there’s no call required, and it’s yours to keep — including if you hand it to another developer.
No catch, but there is a limit: we build two per week, because each one takes real analysis inside your data. We do it free because the fastest way to show you we’re worth hiring is to be useful first. If the roadmap is valuable and you want us to execute it, you pick a program. If not, you keep the roadmap.
We work with DTC Shopify brands doing $50,000 a month or more. Below that, conversion work usually isn’t the highest-leverage spend — traffic is — and we’ll tell you that instead of taking the project.
The teardown lands in 48 hours. The roadmap takes five to seven days once we have access. Once a program starts, the first fixes are usually live within two weeks — we don’t disappear for a quarter and return with a redesign.
Often, yes. Sometimes we hand the roadmap to your developer and stay out of it; sometimes we handle the conversion work while your developer keeps building features. What doesn’t work is three vendors arguing over whose change broke the number — so we agree on who owns what before we start.
Notes from the builds
Conversion, subscriptions, speed and migrations — written for the people running the store, not for search engines.

What actually slows down a Shopify store
Apps get blamed for slow Shopify stores. Theme architecture is usually the real cause, and the Shopify speed score is a poor guide to either.

A/B testing on Shopify when you don’t have enterprise traffic
You don’t need enterprise traffic to test. You need to test bigger things, in the right order, and stop calling small differences wins.

Why shoppers aren’t choosing your Shopify subscription option
Most underperforming subscription offers aren’t priced wrong. They’re explained wrong — and shoppers decline anything they don’t fully understand.
